How do I submit my resume to JobStreet.com?

Due to privacy reasons, we do not update your resume, send your resume to third parties or apply to any jobs on your behalf. With JobStreet.com, your resume and application to any job is completely confidential and totally within your control.

Your resume must:

Be in Word (.doc or .docx), Text (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf) or PDF (.pdf) format.
Have a file size not exceeding 300KB.

To upload your resume:

Please log into your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "MyResume" and then on "Add Attachment".

Our role is simply to make it easy for you to maintain your resume and submit your applications to prospective employers who posted their vacancies on JobStreet.com

After you register and complete your resume, you can apply to all suitable vacancies directly.

How do I apply for a job?

You may apply for jobs advertised at JobStreet.com by following any of the methods below:

To apply online:

Your Resume must be complete and your email address must be validated.
Click on a Position Title to view the job advertisement.
To submit your application to the job, click on the "Click Here To Apply" button in the advertisement.

* Please use this method to apply for jobs online so that you will be able to keep track of your applications in your MyJobStreet account.

To apply by email:
Use the "Email My Resume" feature in your MyResume. You may email your resume to any employer provided you have their email address.

Call the employer directly:
You may call the employer directly if the advertisement is a Classifieds Advertisement.

How do I reset my ID/Password?

Go to the Change Password form to reset your ID/Password.

How do I receive LiNa Alerts wih a preferred specialization?

Please select a preferred specialization in your LiNa job alert profile and LiNa, your personal career agent, will then email you job alerts that meet your requirement when such jobs become available.

To update your LiNa job alert profile:

Access your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "My Jobs" on the horizontal navigation bar.
Select "Edit" next to "My LiNa Job Matches".
Select your preferred specialization.
Click on "Save & View Job Matches".

How do I search for jobs?

Please follow the steps below:

Log into your MyJobStreet account.
Go to the Job Search tab.
Fill in all the necessary information and then click on the search link at the bottom of the page.

How do I receive LiNa Alerts with a preferred location?

To update your LiNa job alert profile:

Access your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "My Jobs" on the horizontal navigation bar.
Select "Edit" next to "My LiNa Job Matches".
Select your preferred location.
Click on "Save & View Job Matches".

How do I resize my photo?

Your photo must:

Be in JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or GIF (.gif) format.
Have a file size not exceeding 15KB. You may refer to http://www.resize2mail.com to resize your photo.
Have a recommended dimension of 110 pixels (width) x 150 pixels (height)

To upload your photo:

Log into your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "MyResume" and then on "Add photo".

How do I update my resume?

Log into your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "MyResume" and proceed to the section that you wish to update.
Click on the "Edit" button on the right side of the page.
After you have made the necessary changes, click on the "Save" button.

How do I change email address?

Due to privacy and confidentiality reasons, we are not able to make the necessary changes on your behalf.

How do I validate my account?

To validate your MyJobStreet account, you must have an access to the Internet:

Go into your Email account, the same one you used to register with JobStreet.com.
Check if you have received an email from JobStreet.com with the subject "Welcome to MyJobStreet".
Click on the link in the email.
A website will appear and confirm that your account has been validated.

* Please ensure that your mailbox is not full at all times and your email service provider is not blocking our emails to you. You may need to check your Bulk folder if you do not find our email in the Inbox.

How do I check my application status?

Log into your MyJobStreet account.
Click on "MyApplication" and check your status in the "Applied Jobs" list.
You may also check the legend of the application status by clicking on the "Legend" link at the top right hand corner of the table.

Why do I get no response from the employer?

The decision to choose, short-list or hire is in the hands of the employer. Similarly, the updating of the status of an online application also depends on the employer. JobStreet.com is not involved in the recruiting process. Your potential employer will contact you directly either by email or telephone, if you are short-listed by them.
